This is probably my favorite post of the year. Throughout the season I accumulate a list of unusual items, challenges, small victories and some of my favorite quotes for the year. For those who have joined me this season, I hope at least some of it resonates with you. For the others, well, you can probably figure out at least some of them.
Last Week
With weather in low ’60s and the game only an hour away, I could not resist heading up to Ashland, Virginia to see the Randolph Macon Yellow Jackets host the Courtland Red Dragons for the chance to go the NCAA Division III national championship. Unfortunately, the Red Dragons came out hot and never looked back. It was 42-0 Courtland by halftime. They only positive was a mini-Mercyhurst reunion with some old friends. The National Championship is actually only three hours away in Salem, Virginia. Had Randolph Macon won, I probably would have gone to the game. Instead, I will stay home and focus on holiday prep.
Speaking of the holidays
Christmas is right around the corner, so if you want to get your football fan a rivalry mug or t-shirt, you need to act fast. Swing on over to the store and start your Christmas shopping. And, if you don’t see your team represented, drop us a line and we will get right on it.
